Hey everyone!! I wanted to introduce myself and give a little information on what this new blog will contain!! My name is Skyler McManaway and I am HAPPILY married with three kiddos. We have an 8 year old son, a 6 year old daughter and a 3 year old son, to say our hands are full would be an understatement. My wife and I have been married for 7 years but have been together now for 12 years. I decided to start this relationship blog because over many years I see relationships failing and failing due to the spark not being “alive” anymore or the fight being extinguished. I want to be able to help out the guys that ran our of date ideas or don’t feel like there relationship is worth the fight anymore and then regret it a year later when they realize they should have done better.

With that being said, I am not starting up this blog because relationships are an easy topic. Relationships are not supposed to be easy, they are supposed to be hard, filled with passion, arguments and dissagreements. Through this blog, I will share personal stories, date ideas, and not just a dinner and a movie. After awhile a dinner and movie just becomes repetitive, so here on this blog we will get creative, and go through thought out date ideas, we will talk about expensive dates, dates that do not require a ton of money, because at the end of the day, it truly is about the thought that goes into the date. We will touch base on what makes a relationship thrive so we are able to keep that spark alive. If you aren’t in a relationship or married, that is okay too, my goal here is to help you find your forever.

Have you ever woke up, wondering how could everything go wrong so fast. Thinking to yourself, “we were so in love, how can we resent each other.” And wonder “how did everything turn bad so fast?” Well this didn’t just happen overnight, this is months, years, of sweeping everything under the rug (as my wife would say), and not fixing the issue, or communicating to each other until it’s to late and then having the same issues day after day until one day, that flame that was burning so bright finally extinguishes and you’re both sitting in the dark wondering what to do now. Some may be thinking that they have no more options left, or some may be thinking that dates are really hard to plan. I am here to tell you, that you do not have to go at it alone anymore, folllow my blog for all realtionship advice!! ROMANCE ISN’T DEAD, YOU’RE JUST LAZY!!
